Where are you based?
The Long Acre farm is based in the foothills of North Tipperary. The Long Acre is a small farm holding, comprising of a small suckler calf to beef enterprise. It also includes, occasionally rearing ewes and lambs along with the many other creatures great and small found on The Long Acre farm.

Can I visit The Long Acre?
While a lot of The Long Acre is shared online, it is a private farm and visits from the public are not currently an option, but in time- who knows?!
Are you a full-time farmer?
Although farming is a full-time, every day vocation, it is a part-time passion for me at present. I manage my farm along with a full-time job as a tyre technician for the Nenagh Tyre Centre as a break-down operative providing breakdown cover on a range of vehicles and machinery in many industries including agriculture, construction and various industrial premises. I have almost a decade of experience in this trade and find it rewarding helping and meeting people from all walks of life.
What’s your long term goal with The Long Acre?
The goal of The Long Acre is to become as self-sufficient as possible off the land, running an off-grid cottage, producing high-quality, sustainable food for the larger community through rearing ethically produced food along with other animal based products. The Long Acre Lifestyle apparel has already started to reach those that believe in the same way of living, and I would like for it to become more widespread so that The Long Acre community can grow near and afar.
What do you sell in the online Long Acre Shop?
At present I sell meat (mostly beef) products and our own branded clothing range. I only sell online through our website at the moment, unless I go to the odd agri show or farmers market. I am going to expand the range all the time so make sure to keep an eye on shop page.
Do you ship only in Ireland?
No! I have been shipping my “The Long Acre Lifestyle” clothing range worldwide for a significant time now.
However, my Farm Shop items and can only be purchased if you live in Ireland
